 Tips for Measuring Ring Size

  • We would always advise if possible visit a professional jewellers to get your ring size measured, but using a sizing guide is a good solution if that is not possible.

  • Typically the knuckle is larger than the base of the finger, so when you measure the ring size always make sure that the ring is tight over the knuckle even if it is slightly loose on the base of the finger. The knuckle acts as your security from the ring falling off… so make sure it doesn’t easily slide off.

  • Finger sizes can fluctuate depending on body temperature, with it being larger when hot and smaller when cold. On average your finger can change 1/2 - 1 finger sizes, so keep this is mind when deciding the finger size and allow for the change.

  • Wider rings will fit slightly tighter than narrow ones, so if you are considering a wider band we advise allowing a slightly larger size.

  • Don’t worry if you cannot get an exact finger size or if you plan on making it a surprise. Its the gesture that’s the most important part! and a ring can always be resized. We typically create our rings to be a generic finger size and allow you to resize the ring after purchase for free.
